Accounts Portfolio Manager

Job Description

We are working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants who are seeking an Accounts Portfolio Manager to join their team in Edinburgh.

A perfect opportunity for an ACCA/ ACA qualified individual working in practice looking for the next step up in their career.

Managing an impressive portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors involving the provision of accounts, and business/ client advisory work.

The Role:

Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Monitoring and review of statutory accounts
Management reporting packs
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Managing WIP
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Client meetings
Business development

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Experience of managing a client portfolio
A strong background in accountancy practice
Good working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards
Excellent communication skills
