Business Development Director - Infrastructure Recruitment Services \n\nUK - Mobile / Hybrid\nup to £100k, +OTE, Car, Pension\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Director to secure and develop high-value opportunities within our target infrastructure sectors.\n\nThis is a senior role focused on identifying, developing and winning major contracts, building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, and helping shape the company's growth strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating new revenue streams and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.\n\nYou will work closely with internal teams including marketing, bid management and operational delivery teams to ensure opportunities are developed effectively and successfully converted into new business.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Business Development Director, you will:\n\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective and existing clients\nDevelop strong relationships with decision-makers across target organisations\nGenerate and progress sales leads through to successful contract awards\nLead negotiations on rates, terms and commercial agreements\nCollaborate with bid teams on formal tenders and proposals\nSecure written agreements and oversee the handover of new contracts to delivery teams\nMaintain awareness of market conditions and recruitment charge rates within key workforce skillsets\nCreate opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services within existing customers\nSupport forecasting activities relating to pipeline opportunities and expected wins\nGuide and support colleagues who are contributing to the sales processThis role is mobile and will involve meeting customers across the UK, working from company locations, customer sites or other meeting venues as required.\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for a commercially focused business developer with a strong track record of securing large contracts and building long-term customer relationships.\n\nYou will likely have:\n\nProven business development or sales experience\nExperience within a recruitment, workforce solutions, or employment business environment\nDemonstrable success in developing strategic client relationships\nExperience leading or directing sales teams or supporting wider sales functions\nStrong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills\nConfidence presenting solutions to senior stakeholders\nGood organisational and planning abilities\nExperience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer recordsA background of business devlopment within infrastructure or related sectors is essential.\n\nWhat You'll Be Part Of\n\nThis role sits at the centre of our growth strategy.
