We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Housing Association, who are looking for an Electricians. \n\nDay to day duties for an Electrician \n\nResponsive Repairs:\n Attending day-to-day electrical faults in occupied properties — no power, tripping circuits, broken sockets, faulty lights, immersion issues, extractor fans, etc.\n\nPlanned Electrical Works:\n Carrying out scheduled maintenance such as emergency light testing, smoke/heat detector checks, and fixed-wire inspections across properties.\n\nMinor Installation Works:\n Adding new sockets, replacing light fittings, upgrading extractor fans, installing new circuits, and small rewires where required.\n\nHeating & Controls:\n Working on electrical components of heating systems — timeclocks, stats, boiler wiring centres, element changes and basic diagnostics.\n\nSocial Housing Safety Compliance:\n Ensuring all work is carried out to BS 7671 standards, keeping properties safe and meeting compliance standards.\n\nOccupied-Home Working:\n Communicating clearly with tenants, working cleanly, respecting the home, and keeping disruption to a minimum.\n\nTeam Support:\n Working alongside other trades (plumbers, multis, gas engineers) and assisting with joint jobs where electrical input is needed.\n\nEmergency Call-Outs (if required):\n Responding to urgent issues such as no lights/no power, alarms, or unsafe electrics needing immediate attention.\n\nBenefits for Electrician:\n\nVan & fuel card provided\nPower tools/van stock & materials can be provided\nMonthly Pay If you are interested in this position please send your CV to (url removed)
