Functional Analyst

Further your career and take on a new challenge as a Functional Analyst!\n\nWe are now recruiting for hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a supportive, locally owned assessment provider.\n\nAs a Functional Assessor you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government’s disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user.\n\nBenefits Include:\n\n * Basic salary £40,000\n\n * + 10% Performance bonus\n\n * Hybrid, Approx 2-3 days in clinic per week\n\n * Full time\n\n * Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30-5pm (40 hours per week)\n\n * Training: Full time, 6 weeks’\n\n * 25 days Holidays per annum\n\n * Company Laptop and Mobile Phone provided\n\n * Employee network groups\n\n * Scottish Widows Pension\n\nYour New Role:\n\n * As a Functional Assessor, you will conduct 3-4 assessments per day including telephone/face to face assessment and report.\n\n * As a Functional Assessor, your cases and appointments will be spread throughout the day allowing you to have greater job autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.\n\n * You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.\n\n * You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.\n\n * 1+ years post qualification experience.\n\n * Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.\n\n * Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy
