Hydrologist- Edinburgh

 \n\nYou will work on varied projects spanning flood risk, drainage and natural flood management for both public and private sector clients.    \n\nAs a Flood Risk Consultant, you will join an experienced team of Consultants and be expected to complete;\n\nHydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.\nFlood risk assessments.\nNutrient neutrality assessments.\nDrainage strategies.\nHydrological assessments.\nWater Framework Directive Assessments.\nNatural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects.\nFlood risk mapping using ArcGIS. \nFlood Estimation.        \nFrequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Geography, Environmental Management or Environmental Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments, hydrological assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.\n\nCandidates are required to be based in Edinburgh as you will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis.
