Mechanical Design Engineer

This could be for complete machines or individual components.\n\nLiaising with production to see projects through the manufacture process and onward to customer delivery.\n\nProducing 3D models to be used for analysis in Ansys.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties\n\nProduction of accurate manufacturing drawings.\nProduction of full assembly drawings & parts lists from manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks PDM\nModifications and revision of design drawings.\nAbility to understand engineering materials, properties & manufacturing processes of these materials.\nAid production with troubleshooting and design improvements.\n\nQualifications/Experience\n\nThe successful candidate\n\nMinimum of HND or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related subjects.\nExperience in drawing office methods & practices combined with good factory floor knowledge of machining & assembly processes.\nGood all round knowledge of 2D/3D CAD systems as well as Microsoft Office.\nExperience with SolidWorks / SolidWorks PDM or similar CAD software.\nAbility to work as part of a strong team, as well as making informed decisions when working alone at site, either in the UK or abroad.\nCertifications of any training, in house or otherwise, would be advantageous.\nFull driving license & current passport would be a distinct advantage.\n\nTechnique-Recruitment Solutions Ltd is a proud equal opportunities employer, dedicated and specialist to the engineering and manufacturing industries.
