Project Manager\n\nA well-established and rapidly growing interior fit-out and refurbishment contractor is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join its operational team.\n\nThe business delivers high-quality commercial interior projects across multiple sectors throughout the UK, with a strong reputation for quality, professionalism, and client satisfaction. Due to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, an opportunity has arisen for an organised and commercially aware Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through to successful handover.\n\nLocation: Birmingham\n\nPosition: Project Manager\n\nSalary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum + car allowance + package\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nAvailability: Immediately available \n\nThe Role:\n\nReporting directly to senior leadership, the Project Manager will play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including office, retail, hospitality, education, and commercial workspace environments.\n\nThe role requires an individual capable of taking ownership of projects from pre-construction and planning through to final handover and client sign-off. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational delivery, maintaining programme deadlines, overseeing commercial performance, and ensuring projects are completed safely and to an exceptional standard.\n\nManaging all operational phases of interior fit-out and refurbishment contracts\nLeading project planning, sequencing, and delivery strategies\nMaintaining strong client communication throughout the project lifecycle\nDriving programme performance and ensuring deadlines are achieved\nMonitoring commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team\nEnsuring all projects meet quality assurance and health & safety standards\nIdentifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies proactively\nFull project management responsibility from mobilisation through to completion\nCoordination and management of subcontractors, labour, and suppliers \n\nThe successful candidate will be a driven and professional individual with a strong background in construction project delivery, ideally within interior fit-out, refurbishment, or commercial construction environments.\n\nThe business is seeking an individual who is commercially aware, solutions-focused, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving operational environment.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience:\n\nPrevious experience as a Project Manager within construction, fit-out, or refurbishment\nStrong knowledge of project delivery processes and construction methodologies\nStrong client-facing and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to lead teams and manage subcontractor performance effectively\nCommercial awareness with experience managing budgets and project costs \n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nSMSTS Certification\nCSCS Card\nFirst Aid at Work qualification\nRelevant construction management qualification or degree
