Date posted: May 18, 2026\n\nPay: £13.73 per hour\n\nJob description:\n\nQuality Control Technician x 3 /Norwich/ Full-time temporary ongoing – £13.73 p/h\n\nPosition 1 Recruitment are currently seeking Quality Control Technician x 3 to join our client’s team. Our client is an engineering business based in Norwich.\n\nThis role offers 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Thu 7:45-16:30 with unpaid lunch break 12:30-13:00; Fri 7:45-12:15.\n\nQuality Control Technician will take an active role within the Quality Department, ensuring product components are inspected to meet design requirements.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\n * Carry out quality inspections accurately and within agreed timescales\n\n * Inspect purchased goods at supplier sites and upon receipt\n\n * Inspect in-house manufactured components and completed assemblies\n\n * Conduct inspections during build, final assembly, and on returned machines\n\n * Complete inspection paperwork and quality reports as required\n\n * Perform dimensional checks and investigations when needed\n\n * Calibrate measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, and pressure gauges\n\n * Maintain calibration records and procedures\n\n * Monitor and report Standards Room temperature controls\n\n * Support the Quality Department with additional tasks as requested by management\n\n * Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment\n\nRequirement:\n\n * Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Inspection role\n\n * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\n\n * Confident using measuring equipment and inspection tools\n\n * Competent using company IT systems and Microsoft Office packages\n\n * Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment\n\n * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
