Retail & Shopfitting Installation Engineer – Nights\n\nLocation\n\nNationwide – engineers will ideally be allocated to sites close to their home location where possible.\n\nContract Type\n\nContract / Project-Based\n\nShift Pattern\n\nNight shifts – Sunday & Monday\n\n * Sunday shift start: 4:00pm\n\n * Monday shift start: 10:00pm\n\nShift finish times will vary depending on completion of works. Engineers may leave site once all work has been completed and signed off by the Site Lead/customer.\n\nProject Overview\n\nOn behalf of our client we are recruiting teams of reliable Engineers to support a nationwide retail installation programme across retail sites throughout the UK.\n\nWe are looking to build multiple teams of approximately 10 Engineers per region to carry out overnight installation works on behalf of our client.\n\nThis is a hands-on role suited to candidates with experience in retail installations, shopfitting, merchandising, fixture fitting, retail rollouts, or field engineering projects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nInstallation and replacement of retail display technology and associated equipment\n\nInstalling brackets, rails, fixings, and associated equipment onto counters and shelving\n\nCompetent use of hand and power tools including drills, screwdrivers, and measuring equipment\n\nWorking alongside a Site Lead and wider installation team\n\nEnsuring all work is completed to client specification\n\nCarrying out basic fault identification and reporting issues where required\n\nFollowing site health & safety procedures at all times\n\nMaintaining professional standards whilst working in live retail environments\n\nCompleting works within agreed project timelines\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious retail installation, merchandising, shopfitting, fixture fitting, or field engineering experience preferred\n\nExperience using hand tools and power tools safely and confidently\n\nAbility to drill and install fixings onto counters, fixtures, and shelving\n\nGood attention to detail\n\nAbility to work overnight shifts\n\nReliable and punctual\n\nComfortable working as part of a team\n\nStrong communication skills\n\nFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicle requiredAbility to travel to regional sites where required\n\nRe Experience\n\n * Retail technology deployment\n\n * Store refresh or rollout projects\n\n * Basic carpentry or shopfitting experience\n\n * Experience working within live retail environments\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nOngoing nationwide project work\n\nStructured teams with designated Site Leads\n\nOpportunity to work on a large-scale retail deployment\n\nWork allocated regionally where possible\n\nTeam Structure\n\nEach site will operate with:\n\n1 Site Lead\n\nTeam of Engineers (approximately 10 per team)\n\nThe Site Lead will oversee completion and customer sign-off of all works on-site.\n\nRate of Pay\n\n£200 per shift inclusive\n\nApplication\n\nIf you are interested in joining this nationwide retail rollout project, please submit your CV along with details of your location, availability, and relevant experience
