Sales Manager (South East Area)

Power Transmission Solutions | Mechanical Engineering Background Required\n\nWe are seeking an ambitious and driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing team, covering the South East of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with experience in power transmissions and a strong mechanical engineering background to develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships with customers across a variety of industrial sectors, providing technical sales support and delivering tailored power transmission solutions.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n * Developing new business opportunities across the South East region\n\n * Managing and growing existing customer accounts\n\n * Promoting a range of power transmission products and solutions\n\n * Providing technical support and application advice to customers\n\n * Conducting regular customer visits and presentations\n\n * Preparing quotations and negotiating contracts\n\n * Working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service\n\nAbout You\n\nTo be successful in this role, you should have:\n\n * Previous experience within power transmissions, mechanical components, or industrial engineering sales\n\n * A mechanical engineering qualification or strong mechanical engineering background\n\n * Proven experience in both business development and account management\n\n * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills\n\n * The ability to work independently and manage your own diary\n\n * A full UK driving licence\n\nWorking Pattern\n\n * 1 day per week working from home\n\n * Most of the week spent visiting customers across the South East\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\n * Competitive salary + bonus structure\n\n * Fully expensed company car\n\n * Travel allowance\n\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\n * Pension scheme\n\n * Ongoing training and career development opportunities\n\nIf you are a motivated sales professional with a passion for engineering and customer relationships, we would love to hear from you
